Who we are

Ireland IPTV (irelandiptv.net) provides IPTV subscriptions to customers in Ireland and the United Kingdom. For the purposes of data protection law, Ireland IPTV is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any question about this policy or your personal data, email us at support@irelandiptv.net (24/7 email support) or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7446 385834.

The personal data we collect

We only collect the information we need to deal with your order or enquiry. Depending on how you use the website, this may include:

  • Order details: your name, email address and WhatsApp number (or other contact details) entered at checkout, and the plan you chose.
  • Contact form details: your name, email address, your message and, if you choose to give it, your WhatsApp number.
  • Support conversations: messages you send us by email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
  • Service details: the login details (M3U or Xtream Codes) we create for your subscription and its start and end dates.
  • Basic technical data: information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our service providers may process to deliver and protect the website.

How we use your data and our legal basis

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process your order, send you payment and order details, deliver your login details and provide the service (performance of a contract).
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support (performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries).
  • To keep records of orders and payments as required by law, for example for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
  • To keep the website and service secure and prevent misuse, such as account sharing or fraud (legitimate interests).

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers that help us run the website and the service, and only as far as they need it to do their job. These include:

  • Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which stores a backup copy of the messages sent through our contact form.
  • Service providers that host and run the website and help us understand how it is used.
  • Email and WhatsApp, which we use to send you payment details, order details and support replies.

We may also share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a public authority.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Ireland, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards provided for by data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

How long we keep your data

We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Contact form messages and support conversations are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. When we no longer need your data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Cookies and local storage

Our website only uses essential cookies and browser local storage that are needed for the site to work properly, for example to keep the site secure and working as you move between pages. These do not require your consent. Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail and how you can control cookies in your browser.

If we start using any non-essential cookies, such as for analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under GDPR (Ireland) and UK GDPR (United Kingdom) you have the following rights over your personal data. To use any of them, email support@irelandiptv.net. We will reply within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk).

  • Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete your data where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
  • Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data in certain situations.
  • Portability: ask for your data in a commonly used, machine readable format.
  • Objection: object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.

Security, children and changes to this policy

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please never send us passwords or full payment card details by email or WhatsApp.

Our service is only for adults aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
